Experience what it feels like to sit on a horse while it swims

The day starts when we pick you up from the Rovaniemi city center area and head towards Kotatuli Farm in Marrasjärvi. The drive takes about an hour, during which you'll see the countryside and Finnish nature of Rovaniemi.

After arriving at Kotatuli farm, you will be intoduced to our dogs and the horse herd. Our horses live together in a yard and are used to different people and situations. Most of our horses are Finnhorses, the traditional and only horse breed of Finland. Our horses are part of our herd and we work together with them, respecting their opinions.

Enjoy the relaxing lakeside sauna and foot baths

We'll introduce you to the traditional Finnish lakeside sauna and teach you about wood sauna practices. At the sauna, there will be cold drinks available, and the program includes towels, ecological cleaning products, and herbal foot baths. After some time in the sauna, we'll bring a horse to the sauna, where you'll be guided to mount the horse.

Sauna and swimming with a horse is a relaxing experience, but at the same time you get to surpass yourself

The horse will be led by a Kotatuli staff member, and you won't be steering the horse into the water. After two hours of sauna and swimming we will take you back to Rovaniemi.
