HORSE RIDING

Horse riding in breathtaking Lapland landscapes.

We welcome each client as an individual and offer them the opportunity to participate in the care and harnessing of their horses. Our horses are part of our herd and we work together with them, respecting their opinions.

Snowmobile Adventure

A snowmobile adventure on a sled on top of the fell.

You can experience an incredible sleigh ride to the top of a nearby fell with beautiful views over Lake Marrasjärvi. We leave from Kotatuli farm on two snowmobiles and you can sit on the sledge and enjoy a bouncy ride through the forest trails all the way to the top of the fell.

Story of Finnish Christmas

A product that combines everything you could wish for in wintery Lapland.

Our excursion is suitable for the youngest members of the family, with the possibility for sledding, building snowmen and maybe even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. During the trip you can feed the horses of Kotatuli Farm in the traditional Christmas way. If you want, you can try what it feels like to drive a real Finnish horse-drawn sleigh by yourself.

SILENCE OF SAUNA

Experience a traditional Finnish sauna and ice swimming.

You can enjoy an atmospheric sauna, ice swimming and high-quality Finnish pampering products. An herbal foot bath and a full body peat treatment are available. In winter you can swim in the ice hole in the lake and spot the northern lights, and in summer you can swim with horses!

ACCOMMODATION

Bed & breakfast accommodation in a log cabin and a separate forest cottage by the lake.

Our traditional Finnish log house is located in Marrasjärvi, 57 km from the centre of Rovaniemi, on the shore of a lake and in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by forest.

We did the horse trail railing and the snow mobile tour. Both excursions were beyond amazing and unique experiences. The snow mobile tour is up some hills (which are also untouched and super private) and the views at the end are breathtaking - especially with a hot drink and some Finnish pastries.

The host was always attentive and helped us with everything we needed. They even provided breakfast for us at 4 am so we wouldn’t fly out on an empty stomach. They have the friendliest dogs ever, their sauna is top notch, the horses are amazing… it all feels like a dream.

Katja cooks yummy food and they are very helpful with the activities offered by them within our schedule. And the best is that they also offer pickup and drop off service for the ones without car rental and is very worthy to get 1h drive to reach this peaceful and blessed place. Everything is new in the farm and the decoration is very welcoming.
